Visibility

Taking steps to promote research is becoming increasingly more important for researchers.  Making research visible and accessible increases chances of that research being noticed, used, and having impact. This results in increasing the reputations of researchers and the institutions with which they are affiliated.

Researchers are encouraged to embrace a variety of activities and tools to promote their work, connect with other researchers, and engage in scholarly discourse. Activities related to promoting the discoverability of research can take place at all stages of the research process: from discovery and planning, to analysis and assessment, to writing and publishing.

This page presents tools, resources, and strategies useful to increasing the visibility and discoverability of research.
