APA Citation Style was created by the American Psychological Association and is most commonly used by researchers in the social sciences. In APA Citation Style you must cite your sources in the body of the paper you are writing using parenthetical citations and at the end of your paper in a Reference List.

Here are a list of online resources available to help you put together in-text citations and a reference list in APA Citation Style:

APA Publication Manual

The Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association is the definitive source for details on citing references in APA Citation Style. There are several copies available through the UH Libraries and one is always available at the M.D. Anderson Library Service Desk.
