The following list of journals are those with the highest Journal Impact Factor (JIF)* in the MEDICINE, GENERAL & INTERNAL category in the 2023 edition of Journal Citation Reports (JCR). 333 titles are listed in this category in JCR and the top 5 of these are listed below:

Note: these results are based on data from the Web of Science Core collection only. JoVE (Journal of Visualized Experiments) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes experimental methods in video format. JoVE publishes novel methods, innovative application of existing techniques, and gold standard protocols that enable a greater level of experimental transparency in biological, medical, chemical and physical research. A detailed text protocol and representative results accompany every video.
