A type of table join operation in which fields from one layer's attribute table are appended to another layer's attribute table based on the relative locations of the features in the two layers.
In class, we will demonstrate the spatial join using a subset of the data. Because of the size of the data, the whole process takes a long time. You can do that after class.
If you need to export data from that layer, open the attribute table, and export the text file. Then you can use Excel to do more analysis.
