Quick Guide: Footnotes

Please note that in AIP style, citations are indicated by superscript numerals in consecutive order through the text, with the references themselves arranged in the same order at the end of the paper. In special cases, in-text citations may be by the author's last name and year, with the references arranged in alphabetic order.
