These databases contain many articles relevant to religious studies and are available to all University of Houston-affiliated patrons.

Library Call Numbers

Books classified under the subject of religion are found on the 8th floor of the Blue Wing in the M. D. Anderson Library.  General topics are organized as follows:

  • BJ = Ethics
  • BL = Religions, Mythology, Rationalism
  • BM = Judaism
  • BP = Islam, Bahaism, Theosophy, etc.
  • BQ = Buddhism
  • BR = Christianity
  • BS = The Bible
  • BT = Doctrinal Theology
  • BV = Practical Theology
  • BX = Christian Denominations
